I enjoyed my experience at Tea Hut. Service was quick: my tea was done a few minutes after ordering at the cashless kiosk. I tried the grape kyoho tea, which was very refreshing and not too sweet (I chose less sugar). A little bit pricey, but the serving was quite large. I've heard that the fruity drinks are Tea Hut's strong spot. There's a bit of seating near the window area, but the store is pretty small. I look forward to trying more of their seasonal drinks!

After discovering their perfect crème brûlée milk tea with boba, I came here three times in a two week period. The watermelon slush here is also made using real watermelon, and was delightfully refreshing! Would definitely recommend for a sweet treat.

I'm a very frugal person, and still dream about the "good old days" when boba drinks were much more affordable. However my partner's friend recommended that we gave Tea Hut a try while visiting SF. It was a good recommendation, because we ended up coming back twice over the weekend! My favorites were the Pink Lychee and the Mochi Soy Milk. Both had depth of flavor and tasted well balanced. I think I ordered them at 50% sweetness but can't recall. Will stop by again next time I'm in the city!

Tea Hut is known for its trendy mochi with soy drink (consists of black tea with soy milk and foam), which I ordered as dessert following dinner out in town. While I can see the appeal of having fresh mochi on top of a creamy cheese float drink, I'm not sure if it's that special of a trend. Any case, the mochi was soft, almost melt in your mouth, and the drink was quite good-- like a solid milk tea, but with a nuttier taste from the soy flavor. My partner had gotten another drink with Oreos that she found a bit too sweet, but overall, Tea Hut was a solid pick-me-up after dinner.
